Over several thousand years of development, Traditional Chinese Medicine has attracted great attention for its unique and marvelous effects. More and more foreigners incline to receive Traditional Chinese Medical treatment when they are caught in illness.
There are four diagnostic methods in Traditional Chinese Medicine, that is, “Wang (Observation), Wen (Listening), Wen (Enquiry), and Qie (Pulse-taking)”.
Wang (Observation) is to observe the pathological changes in internal organs through the observation to spirit, complexion, figure, state and tongue picture of the patient. Wen (Listening) mainly includes two aspects: listening to the voice of the patients and smelling, through which the doctor can diagnose false or true and chills or fever of the disease.
Wen (Enquiry) means the doctor enquires the symptoms. Through enquiry, the doctors can know the medical history, family history, causes, process and treatment of the disease, symptoms and so on.
Qie (Pulse-taking) is to feel the pulse. The doctor put his fingers on the patients’ wrist to feel the pulse of the patients, through which the doctor can diagnose the state of Zang-fu function.

The doctor can make a full analysis and diagnosis to the patients’ condition by the four diagnostic methods of Wang (Observation), Wen (Listening), Wen (Enquiry) and Qie (Pulse-taking).
